When I'm trying to take photo at 2x zoom, I'm expecting the camera to use the Tele lens with 2x optical zoom to take a clean image. However, the AI will decide itself to switch back to Main lens with 2x digital cropping zoom, results in taking a worse quality grainy image.
This happens under low light condition, or sometimes even just slightly darker environment. This is very unpredictable and unnecessary, worse, it's automatically decided by the AI, we couldn't override and manually select the Tele lens.
After searching online, it seems like there are similar complaints across all 8, 9, 10, 20 & 21 series devices. The hardware is actually capable enough, but the software to have such design logic is just plain stupid.
Can Samsung fix this annoying issue? Let the owner, not the AI to select which lens to use.
Also, can I suggest to have Pro mode on Tele lens?
