In Settings / Display / Home Screen / Lock Home Screen Layout, even with Lock Home Screen Layout enabled, it's possible to delete your Home Screen without receiving a prompt.
An ... Are you sure? would be welcome.
I just accidently deleted my Home Screen and if it were not for Backup / Restore, I would have been hard pressed to restore it how it was.
The restore function did not, however, recreate the bookmarks I created from various browsers.
Just a suggestion.
