Screen has a blocked out area

Suddenly my phone has a large red or green block over two thirds of the screen from the bottom. I have not dropped it, and the screen is not cracked. Help.

Can you upload a picture of the issue @Unconcerned  ?

May I assume you've tried a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.

Maybe the next step is a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre

I have a tiny blocked out area on my S20+ 5G. Green and red. haven't dropped it, no damage. just popped up outta nowhere today.
