It took some time to change theme to default because there is no direct option to delete the applied theme. So here you are how to change or remove the downloaded theme:
Find theme in settings. You will find downloadable themes. Click the bust 👤 icon on the up right side of the page available. You will reach "My Page". Choose theme and default/downloads will be appear there.
