Galaxy Note10 SeriesA month old. From day 1 in Spigen Ultra Hybrid case and last two weeks with Whitestone dome screen protector. I took it from the pocket in the evening (i was driving with the car before when i put it in the pocket after a call and it was ok) and found this. It cracked above the power button throughout the whole screen. The crack on the screen protector above that one was made by me, when i was checking if the screen actualy cracked. The screen and touch still works fine. How is this even possible, that the screen cracks inside the front pants pocket by itself? Aren't phones designed for carrying them in pocket? There was nothing else in the pocket that could cause the crack and also, the crack started at the very beggining of the glass 2 mm inside the case. I found some simillar cases of spontaneus cracks in the same way on the Samsung phones on the internet. It looks like manufacture defect, but how to proove it to the Samsung service center? I have had only Samsung phones until now and also in the family we have 3 more and not even 1 had a broken screen until now. I will certanly rethink my brand decision if i will have to pay for apparent manufacturing defect even for the price of loosing S-pen.
The realy expensive phone is becoming even more expensive...

Galaxy Note10 SeriesI did not get a picture of the damage. But basically the crack started on the front side, 1/3 from bottom. If you look closely at the 2 pieces of glass top and back. There is a small gap. The edge is unfinished, just like tempered glass and just like tempered glass even a tiny hit will crack the glass.

Which case is that ? Also, is this the original Samsung screen protector ? You say it was in your pocket , did you fall or something else ? OHHH, you wake up so soon, poor guy ...
Whitestone cracked at about the same place:
It's hard to destroy the Note10+
Bennett026 wrote this : Yes I recently purchased the Note+ 5G and it does have a preinstalled screen protector. I noticed a bubble when I dropped my phone off of a 10 foot ladder LOL luckily it was in the case no damage done but there was a bubble and I was able to rub the air out of the bubble.

Galaxy Note10 SeriesThis is with original screen protector and case. I had it in my pocket with nothing else. Did not hit anything either.

Galaxy Note10 SeriesThese are indeed unfortunate events that have affected your phones in this way.
I refer back to the advice I gave earlier in the thread.
I've been using my Samsung Note 10+ 5G since launch date with no issues with the screen - touch wood !
I've had a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector fitted on my phone around a week later after launch.
I do not keep my phone in my pocket etc instead it slips into a vertical holster.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Galaxy Note10 SeriesThe preinstalled screen protector is made of some kind of plastic, so it's a bit strange to ask if it's broken.
All those cracks apparenly happend spontaneusly with only glass being cracked, LCD and Digitizer are working normaly afterwards. This show's how little it takes to brake this not realy useful edge on the screen. I simply don't even dare to carry this phone without wallet case anymore and still looking worrying at the screen every single time if it's still intact. Bad move Samsung, realy bad, with this rounded screens.

To me it seems crazy that you cannot keep your ohone in your pocket. Do me this is a design flaw as many people choose to carry their phones this way

I think you misinterpreted my reply @touki
I choose to carry my phone this way as I find it more accessible this way and dust and lint from my pocket does not get into the phones ports this way either.
There isn't anything that I've seen from Samsung saying you can't carry the phone in a pocket.

If i am asking that, it's because i try to know if it's only the Samsung's screen protector that broke or the screen of the Note10plus...
Like i said, i did'nt see this kind of problem anywhere and just try to understand..that's it...
