I purchased a Note 10 in the UK and I travelled to Austria right after. If I insert my UK sim into the phone, will this work for the activation, or do I need to insert the sim while in the UK? At present, the phone is saying roaming. I know my network has free roaming in Austria, but I just want to make sure this will work.
It should normally work, if it won't then it wouldn't with an Australian Sim card, bcs before using another Sim from non EU Countries you have to have min. of 5 min. calling history.
Hi @violinist1005, you'll be fine taking it from UK to Austria. There won't be any regional restrictions on the phone. However, if the phone was purchased from a Network, just check with your network for any limitations.
