with the new update alliance stopped working for me. ***** samsung u will not allow us to downgrade either. i think better to move to chinese manufacturers like xiaomi where changing band is very easy. i know samsung has been bribed by 5g telcos to do this so that they can force us to buy expensive 5g data plans but u know what samsung ...u 've been loosing ur costumers.

As the Alliance Shield X option is not working for now as Samsung has revoked their knox keys, I have found a working option for now. For this you need a pc/laptop. Find a working version of "Shannon DM" tool. Connect your mobile in "RNDIS+ACM+DM+ADB" mode using *#0808# option in your mobile dialer. Then go to "hidden device menu" from Shannon on your pc. Click on network setting>sim slot 1/2> LTE or NR> band selection> choose the desired band from the list. Thats all. Have a good day and cheers.

As far there is no access of samsunghiddennetwork setting direct from the non-rooted android device, you need the shannon dm tool to gain access of the network band. If you know which band disturbs you more, then just deselct it. For my area, band 40 is used for high speed and lesser coverage. But the band is so overcrowded that i use to get the least speed. Thatswhy i choose to disable that band most of the time. I have tried this method for multiple samsung devices. Works like a charm. Caz, the tool is the samsung's proprietary software and can access everything regarding network.

I think, I should raise a compain in consumer court against samsung, because in july update this issue started happening that I started facing issues with 4G networj connectivity. where update states only security patch where nothing was mentioned related to Network band or speed or nothing like that.
you will be punished.
