why not add functiinalities to the pen - like 3,5mm ( with some memory it could be used as portable player. even with out memory it could be used over bluetooth - with cable headphones). add mic and speaker ( and it could be used as "phone" or dictaphone ).  you are plugged your phone to charge but have yours pen next to you for conversations

@butch_bs: I like these ideas, and while I can't confirm the addition of these features, it's exciting to imagine how the S pens functionality will evolve in future models. As it stands, the S Pen does have a variety of functions attached the S Pen button and Air Gestures, details of which can be found on page 60 of the user manual.
