Latest update hides data files

I updated Jan 2021, and now the system hides all the folders in the Data folder.. pain in the ass as I had shortcuts into that folder for various things. How can I enable system to show these folders again plz.. currently using a file App but not as easy and quick as before

head to My Files app → tap 3 dots → Settings → enable Show hidden files
