I cannot enable 5Ghz hotspot, and can't even change the channel for 2.4Ghz!

Hello,

My 4G+ Internet speed on my phone is ~80mbps, but when I enable Hotspot and share it with my laptop, the maximum speed I get on my laptop is like 12-13mbps...

I tried to enable 5Ghz, or at least change the channel, but I see no options at all!

My phone model is SM-N975F/DS

Here is a screenshot of my configuration menu, these are the only options available:

Even my old "Samsung A8" phone had an "Advanced option" here and the speed of its Hotspot was much faster than Note10+ 😞

This is really frustrating and upsetting, any help is appreciated.

The option to enable 5ghz only is in the settings > connections > mobile hotspot and tethering section

Turn on Mobile Hotspot , then you can alter it

I bought SM-N975F/DS a week ago. I got the latest Android 11 update though they haven't fixed this issue. I am facing the same problem and it sucks.

Yes the problem is still existing you only have 2.4ghz in the settings which is annoying i mean if you cant choose 5ghz why samsung didn't removed the options from the settings
