Have a look in the phones port to see if any lint or dust is in there which can affect the connection.
Are you able to try another set of headphones in your phone and your own set in another phone ?
If the headphones need replacing and they haven't been damaged accidentally then if the phone was supplied by a network check their Terms and Conditions or if the phone was supplied directly by Samsung then look at their Terms and Conditions for you country to see if they cover them. It could be 6 months or 12 months I think.
