Not sure if i'm missing something (pretty sure i'm not), but has anyone else noticed that Dual Capture doesn't seem to be available/work on the Note 10? I must say, coming from a Note 9 which had it, the Live Focus pictures look considerably worse and lack of option to switch between zoom on the photos is disappointing.

Hoping this will be fixed with an update soon.. poor play there Samsung!

I just came of Live support with Samsung. It's going up the chain to a product specialist lets see what comes of this. I noticed I was not seeing the Live Focus option at all which was annoying since I to used it on the Note 9.

Has there been any further update on getting dual capture on the note 10 does anyone know?

@StargazerUK I always had Live Focus when I opened the camera app on my Note 10 plus.

Have you tried pressing and holding on a mode with the camera app open (let's say Photo) to check if the Live Focus was ticked?

I'm also missing Dual Capture, not many phones had/have it.

Also, have you received any updates from Samsung?

I contacted Samsung and got a very 'nothing' response:

"At the moment, Dual Capture is not a feature which is available on the Note 10 range. We're currently unable to confirm whether any future updates will allow the use of this feature, however we would recommend you keep an eye on our newsrooms both in the Samsung Members app, and the Samsung Community to get all the latest details."

Dissapointing to be honest. I've not been using the Live Focus feature on my 10+. It has nothing on the Note 9 version with Dual Capture. Misses backgrounds constantly, doesn't apply blur - overall incredibly hit and miss.

This is very very disappointing news from Samsung. They have just got rid of a very useful and well used function, the majority of users may not even realise it is missing until after purchase as they kept its removal very quite.

Luckily I have not purchased the note 10+ as of yet solely and only because of the removal of dual capture. Frankly @samsung this totally sucks! Please address this for your loyal users!

This is such bad news, I have discovered this a few days after purchasing and I am not sure how to live with this, I am considering keeping my Note 8 and selling the brand new Note 10 + !! as I mainly use my phone for camera and I am pretty sure by now the Note 8 camera just gives me better effects plus no dual capture means I have to take each photo twice with the Note 10+! I have been relying on Dual Capture ALWAYS knowing that I can take a portrait and if it doesn't come out right I always have the full photo too..
Another thing is that the normal lens on Note 10+ is a lot more zoomed in than on on Note 8 and to achieve the same angle I need to zoom out meaning its switching automatically to the wide lens camera which just doesn't produce the same quality..
I cant believe that trying to upgrade after to years to the newest Note and 1000euro later has left me disappointing and I now have less features and flexibility !

To add to this, I think i'm actually more disappointed that I haven't seen a single review that has picked up on this feature being missing. It really was something unique and definitely produced some of the most natural and consistent Live Focus photos i've seen from a phone camera.

Really hoping that Samsung are just taking their time developing a new version of it to be later added. Just not the same without and dissapointing for the price point.

Absolutely, I actually haven't seen a single review being truthfull about the camera, they all are shining reviews saying it's the best or nearly the best camera on the market, its simply not true if it's own 2 year old model beast it in every light condition. I think all these reviews are paid or the reviewers are just not doing their job right.

I agree the live focus just isn't natural anymore and the silly other type effects like Big Circle or Spin etc are just ridiculous. I am actually keeping my Note 8 as a camera atm because I refuse to settle on worse quality pictures. I have side by side comparisons of photos from the 2 models in different light conditions and I am considering writing a blog post myself about this. People deserve to know the truth and Samsung needs to make sure asap that their flagship most expensive model is actually their best model out there in terms of features and hardware and post processing software !

Additionally.. has anyone been having problems with the touch functionality? I swear theres something not quite right with it too.. I am missing loads of touches all the time and its infuriating
