S Pen - "Reconnect Your S Pen"

I've received a message on my Note 10+ 5G to reconnect my S Pen. I followed the instructions and it tells me that it cannot connect. It is working fine on the screen when I write a note (I am writing this post using the S Pen in hand writing recognition), and seems to recognise that I have removed it or inserted it. If the pen is near the phone the S Pen button works. Yet it still keeps doing the 'click' sound repeatedly. Any ideas?

Hi, I can't help but just wanted to say I have suddenly got the same error about 3 hours ago. Wonder if an update has caused this?

Hi @clear858  @Penny42

I'm on the April update but not experiencing this issue.

If all your settings and preferences look OK then.....

You could try clearing the phones system cache by turning the phone Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phones system files and clear the cache.

As a last resort back up , remove any relevant Sd card and factory reset.
