Note 9 Android Auto suddenly not compatible

Hi, I used Android Auto for a year now, but the latest update, june's patch, made my device (sm-960f.) incompatible. I use the original usb cable. Also other original cables won't work.

Even a factory reset on my note 9 and the car unit would not resolve the issue.

I've turned off the battry optimization in the AA app as well.
