German version on Amazon

Can German version bought on Amazon.de be used in Belgium? What about warranty and any future repairs, Do I need to send the device to Germany? Can I set the language or any other settings for Belgium?

If the device is simlock free it can definitely be used in Belgium, for support however you have to go though Samsung Germany.

Hey @Harishchandra,

You'll be able to get support in the whole European Economic Area plus Swiss if it's a German phone. So that includes Belgium. https://www.samsung.com/be/support/warranty/

Still its important to know that german phones get updates though the german channels and tend to be more optimized for that market.

Usually that is not a big deal unless new tech gets introduced in the Belgium thats not available in germany (or vice versa ).
