Fingerprint Sensor Not Working (Note 9)

My fingerprint sensor stopped working. I ran diagnostics and it recommended restarting the phone, but this was still not fixed. Any other recommendations to fix this issue?

Thank you for your message. Have you also tried deleting the cache memory through the recovery menu? If not, turn of your phone, press and hold the Volume Up, Power, and Home/Bixby buttons until you see the Android logo. After a few seconds you will enter the recovery menu. Select 'Wipe cache partition' and afterward 'Reboot systeem now'. Let us know it it worked.
