Hm. Does the camera work on any 3rd party apps? Such as WhatsApp/ Snapchat etc.

The samsung members diagnostics- did it show a failure when ran?

Attempt a soft reboot—hold volume down and power until it restarts. Any luck?

Finally, attempt booting into safe mode (Google your specific model for how).

Does it work in safe mode? If so, another app is causing an issue. If not, I believe it could be time to contact customer support.

Hi @SkintSam  just some other Troubleshooting worth mentioning Have you checked your permissions to see all is ok there/ Apps-Camera-Permissions. Are on you the latest camera update and are you able to Reset the camera, via Settings- Reset Settings in the app.

You could also wipe the cache partition to clear temporary files, data is intact.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

However  you may need to contact support, bear in mind that the Note 9 was released in 2018 and has not received security patches for a few years and vulnerability increases when Devices lose support.
