I use Samsung phones, tablets and watches since 2004.

I bought my current Note 20 5G phone in end of January 2021.

Just after 2 years of released, Samsung decided not to update Note 20 series to latest software. I feel that this is the most unreliable brand ever and decided not to use Samsung forever.

Bye Samsung.

I will admit older samsung phones do have poor support however the newer ones are much better I have a s23 ultra and that will get software for 4 years and security for 5 which is much more acceptable unfortunately 2020 phone were all a year less. I was pretty annoyed about my tab s7 but then I knew that this day would come. My s9 ultra however will have the same great support

Hey there

I'm not sure sure about your comment "Samsung decided......".

When the Note 20 was released, Samsung were very clear about future updates. At the time what they were able to offer was fairly industry standard.

More recently as @AshtabS9Ultra has said, technology has moved on and now we are seeing 4 years of OS and 5 years Security becoming more the norm.

Sadly the tech in the (to be fair fantastic) Note 20 is incompatible with modern requirements hence why it cannot be updated to newer versions of Android.

Thats weird because i just was forced to download the software and security updates for my note 20 5g.I am currently running the newest android software and security so i think some people are a little confused at how long the updates will last?I didnt want to update to the latest software or security but Samsung forced my phone to so its better than this person stated for sure
