Bug with Android 12 Extra Dim

Alrighty so since I updated to Android 12 I looked through the new features and discovered the "Extra Dim" button thought it would be a good idea to test it out... welp now my max brightness on my screen is as bright as it would be normaly at 30% brightness without extra dim and here's the best part the extra dim function disappeared

you guys need to fix this issue

I'm glad it worked for you too. My phone's been dim since the update. Ive been modifying my photos since they'd appear dark when I fact it was dim all along

Seriously. Like we shouldn't be resorting to workarounds when it was there from the beginning.

A temporary fix to this solution is to have bixby turn it on or off. It's not as convenient as using the shortcut in the notification center but it's a workaround that doesn't include installing another app to make it a shortcut.

I had the same problem, but if you go into settings,Generall management,then Reset you can press "reset accessibility settings"

 

 

 

and it will fix the problem.
