Do you think it's on purpose to make S25U look better? I've been with Sammy since 2012 and 'fruit' 17 series might be a good alternative

Yes, I think that's the reason - to switch to S25 ultra. I tried to take a picture of the Moon several times yesterday with 100x zoom. I've never had such bad pictures before, these from yesterday - I don't know which is worse, they're so bad that I don't think it's a coincidence.

Did you try your S21 Ultra instead? That sure doesn't have problems taking good moon photo's.

I don't have the S21 Ultra with me at all times like the S24 Ultra 🙃 but yes, the S21 ultra doesn't have the March Samsung security update 🤔

It's on the quarterly updates list now, so unfortunately you'll have to wait to at least May for the next Android security patch. The Google Play security updates will continue regularly however, so there is that.
