typing on outter screen

Does anyone really struggle to type on the outter screen on the fold 2? It very rarely recognises when you hit space bar etc?

I'm using gboard (have done since the note 😎

Any way to improve this?

I haven't had any issues from a typing point of view but I'm using the Samsung keyboard (as I like the fact it switches between full and split modes depending on how the device is being used). Are you experiencing the same with the Samsung keyboard? I do like Gboard though, I was a Pixel user for three generations before the Fold.
