If this starts to become a regular occurrence then first check if a setting like your Sync is causing this and a Samsung Experience Store / Samsung Service Centre can take a look too.

@George1988 Hello, do you have another phone with the same Samsung account? In case yes, it is possible that you have deleted contacts on the other phone?
