Hi. I purchased two new Galaxy A13s that initially worked well on my Vodafone connection. Then we found voice calls became impossible due to chop. Eventually found that switching to 2G only allowed good voice calls. Then today discovered mobile data not working, unable to browse Web etc. The only fix was to take the sim card out of slot 1 and put in slot 2. Mobile data now working however calls were impossible again. Checked and 4G/3G/2G had been automatically selected. Changed back to 2G now Mobile data does not work. Spent hours with Vodafone lack of support and getting desperate. Please help.

Hey there
Vodafone and EE have switched their 3g network of entirely. (Three are in the process and o2 are switching off next year).
If you have set your device to 2g only, then mobile data will only be 2g which is virtually useless for Internet.
You need to be on 4g/LTE/3g/2g or similar then you'll be able to make calls on the 2g network and use data on 4g but I suspect 4g may be weak in your area from what you have said in your thread.

For WiFi calling, you'll need to get your network to provision it to your account.
Then go to the phone app, click on settings, locate WiFi calling then toggle it on.
