Vanishing bank notification

Have had the a32 5g for a few days and was fine but now for some reason I no longer receive notifications from my bank app.

Any ideas....

Your phone could have put the notifications from your banking app to sleep ...

Not being a whiz with the phone where would I find the setting for that.

Goto settings and search for sleeping apps

Had already found that but no apps are sleeping. Thanks for trying to help.

You could look at the apps. And scroll down to your banking app and see what permissions it has ... ie notifications etc.
Then when you get the app to open there will also be settings for notifications. If everything is ticked then there is not much else you can do.

Looks like this is one of those gremlins that cannot be fixed.

Clear the banking app cache you may have to log in as the phone will reset the apps data

I think I have solved the problem. I also have a Samsung tablet that was getting bank notifications. I have turned that off and hey presto, now get them on the phone.
