Those little loading dots have been spinning since January. I don't think I even paused the update. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this? If so, please explain it to me like you would a five year old. I'm not technically minded in the least. The best I can do is press buttons. Thanks!

Since it's from January, all I can say that it's a security update. Because it's still stuck on it, i don't want to tell you to restart it. I hope someone who experienced this can help you. Also send a feedback on the Support page because this a very weird bug.

A stable and strong Wi-Fi connection is crucial for downloading and installing software updates.

If your Wi-Fi is unstable, try switching to a different network or using mobile data.

Make sure your phone has enough free storage space for the update.

If the storage is nearly full, it can slow down the process or prevent the update from installing.

Consider deleting unnecessary files or apps to free up space.

If the update fails to install in normal mode, try updating in Safe Mode.

Safe Mode disables third-party apps and services, which can help isolate the problem if it's caused by an app.

To enter Safe Mode, you'll need to restart your phone and hold the Volume Down and Side key at the same time.

Consider a factory reset (as a last resort):

If the issue persists, contact Samsung support for further assistance.

I have the same issue but I already fixed it by resetting my phone. it's been months since that happened to me and I've been doing all possible things but still doesn't work, so in conclusion i just reset it and problem solve. I hope it'll help you.

Have you tried using WiFi. Ideally, using your data isn't recommended when downloading software updates. Try using your wifi and see if the update resumes
