Hi,
I placed an order today, with a trade-in which comes up as "Other | Any Android (Zero Value) - 0GB | Trade-in Discount", giving me £75 off. I now wish I'd entered the details of another phone, which would also fall under "Other | Any Android (Zero Value) - 0GB | Trade-in Discount" (just checked by going through that part of the checkout process on a new order). What happens if you don't send them the phone with the IMEI number you gave on your order? Are they going to accept it for a zero value trade-in?
As a bit of an experiment, I also said it didn't meet their trade-in terms and conditions such as turning on. And still it was deemed okay for a £75 trade in discount.

I've not traded in online before but instead visited my local Samsung Experience Store however I assume they are going to need to phone and correct imei that's been submitted on the trade in page.
You could give them a call for official clarity to see if they'll accept another phone.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
