Used to have Samsung Galaxy S7.  Decided to "upgrade" to A22 on O2 advisor advice with it having a "really good camera".

It is quite possible the worst phone I've ever had and I had a Microsoft phone. Camera/video isn't all that and as for streaming... constantly buffers so that I have to switch from WiFi to 4g/5g. The WiFi hub has been checked. It is working fine. It seems that the hub to device connection is soooooo sloooooooooooow. 2 seconds of play, buffer, 2 seconds of play, buffer....etc. No other device experiences this so must be phone right? How do I fix? I am 6 months into an year deal. Feel like I ought to revert to old device and get rid of this despite still paying it off (did same with MS phone! Think I prefer that over the A22!). 

Any advice? Google searches have turned up nothing.
