sound quality since update

hi i have a samsung a51 5g.   i applied  a samsung software update and now no one can hear me on teams calls on speaker.  any advice

Check no debris has built up in the ports and mic / speaker etc.

First please test your speaker @Nattyb 

This can be performed via using the diagnostic tool in your Samsung Members App.

Or by launching your phone app and on the dialer pad key in *#0*#

thank you i have tried that. i think it is something specific to interaction with MS Teams

i don't have those options. i think i need to clear the cache partion but i can't seem to be able to get to the option to do this.

Usually a person can clear an apps cache via Settings,  apps, choose the app and choose location.

Or

Clear the system cache.

Clear your phone's System Cache Files by turning your phone Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone's System Files and clear the cache. No information is lost this way. You may need to insert your headphones or hook upto a computer with your data cable to get to this menu on the phone.

thanks. just found out for system clear cache/clear cache partitions on android v11 you need phone connected to pc/laptop via usb cable
