something went wrong message after factory reset

had to reset my phone to factory setting from the recovery screen. trying to set up again and i have put my old details in and these were accepted. as this is for my son i put all his details in and right at the end it said something went wrong and went all the way back to verifiying who i am. i have done the same lots more times and this keeps happening but at different places.  it accepts my old details then goes back to start later on. whts going on?

Hi, @Members_j5vVNlq. I suspect that the issue might be that you are verifying your details initially and then putting your son's details in at the end of the process, so it sounds like there is a mismatch when the information is being confirmed.

Just so that I have a better understanding of what's happening, please can you confirm which phone model you are trying to set up? Furthermore, can you also confirm whether you are trying to restore your old details (e.g. data) so that your son can use your phone (albeit in his name)?

hi 

its a A22 5g, ive tried putting my sons details and my detail and does the same on both

we done the reset as he had an update and when it finished it wouldnt reboot just stayed on the samsung logo, i tried all the hard/soft resets and clearing catche in recovery mode and nothing worked
