Shortcut bar appeared I want gone

Does anyone know how I get rid of this black icon bar the suddenly appeared on my Samsung phone? See the attached picture which shows it. Thanks.

Restarting phone does not fix it. It looks like its some kind of messenger shortcut bar but no obvious options in messenger settings to turn it off. To be clear it's on the phone all the time incl on my homescreen.

Does it give you any options

@meemee8: Please try restarting your phone is Safe Mode, as this will disable any third party apps, and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source. To access Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

If the shortcut bar is no longer visible, then please restart the phone as you would normally, and delete any recently installed applications.
