My son's A6 phone screen is starting to pull away from the phone. Must be the adhesive giving way? My question is would it need a screen replacement or could new adhesive be applied?

To keep the manufacturers warranty intact @Markie1966 please seek support from a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre.
They'll assess the phone and if the problem falls under the umbrella of the warranty then the repair will be free of charge.
