Screen Orientation bug

Since the update to One UI 6.1 the screen orientation option (switch from portrait to landscape) has stopped working necessitating a restart. It will work after a restart but if I try to use it a day later it just ignores the screen orientation. This is extremely annoying. For one thing I have to change my wallpaper (I found the default hideous and have a live wallpaper and screensaver) which takes fairly long because of the time it takes to register apps on the SD card. I also have to add a number of items to my edge panel as they get removed every time I restart. Finally there's just the time it takes to restart in the first place. It was working fine before the update. FYI I have a Galaxy A14 5G, model number SM-A146P running Android 14 U. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for fixes? Thank you

Thank you for those recommendations, I haven't got round to trying them yet but I will let you know whether they work or not. It will take a while as the problem only occurs after a day or so, the screen switches to landscape fine when I restart the phone. It's also happening with any app and has only happened since the OneUI update and pretty much within a day or two of that. Thanks again
