Scottish Gaelic does not appear on the huge list of available languages.  I Phone has Gaelic available.  I have reported this to Samsung and asked if thi omission can be rectified.

@MargaretMcM  Samsung may not take it on Board, but may depend on Feedback.    It may not be the solution you are, looking  but Scottish Gaelic  is available via Alternative Keyboards  such as this one.

However note that there are some risks wiith using 3rd Party keyboards and I have not used this particular app myself.

I live in Scotland but I'm learning Spanish (have worked in Tourism for many years) . I'm all for as wide a range of languages as possible being included so your post gets my 'like' vote Margaret. Once Samsung have developed the required code, it's then usable on a very wide range of devices so although its a bit of effort for them to start off with, the long term rewards will be there.

A bit of effort may make sense from a PR point of view,  there is  interest as many languages as possible.  Whilst I live in Scotland  imagine very few know much Gaelic  in central belt mind you.
