Samsung Internet notification when pressed does nothing. Why notify me something I am interested in, but not let me open it?

if notifications from Internet app doesn't suit you, you may turn if off

press and hold Internet app icon → tap "i" → tap Notifications → turn off 

then reboot the phone for a fresh start

Hi thanks for your response. I am not looking to turn off these notifications, I am interested in them and want to open them. I am aware of turning off notifications. That's the first thing I do with all my apps. Too much bloatware on the ROM & permission heavy apps from the playstore need keeping in check.

If there is too much bloatware on the phone, you can flash a custom ROM to get rid of these OR reinstall a firmware that has the least firmware possible (most likely XEU). When reinstalling firmware, make sure to download the option that matches with your android device, model number and android version. 😁
