Have you tried clearing the cameras cache file @kev656
> Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear Cache.
And if absolutely necessary Clear Data.
Sometimes clearing the phone's system cache file partition can help.
> This clears the phone's system partition cache file. No personal information is lost. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a turned On laptop to access this section.
If that does not help and there are no pending software, or Camera updates pending then a last resort is to back up and factory reset.
