Hello, I bought a Samsung Galaxy A51 some time ago. And I noticed a strange screen protector layer, that gets scratched easily. If the layer is part of the screen, will taking off the protector and putting a new do any harm to the device?

Thanks!

I received my S21 Ultra last week and noticed it had screen protection on it which I thought was cool.

There's no harm in taking it off to replace with a different one.

Some phone's come with an in-transit plastic sheet over the screen and some also come with a factory fitted tpu screen protector.

It will cause no damage to the display to remove them but then take into account the display is unprotected.

Personally I remove them anyway and apply a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector @Danilo Bozhunovich
