Just would like to know the pros and cons of this phone in general, as well as in comparison with the Samsung Galaxy A41 64GB. So far what I found was;
- CPU is better on A32 (unsure about this...)
- Screen resolution and display is trash on A32.
- Battery is better (a bit unsure about this, due to CPU and poor screen display, which can actually cancel out the bigger battery duration? If so, then another downside would be that it takes ages to charge to 100%.)
- Camera is great on A32.
- Chunky phone than the A41, which I see as a negative.
- A41; £269.99. A32 5G; £249.99

Can anyone tell me of a better Samsung/OPPO alternative to the Samsung Galaxy A41? The phone alternative has to be available from Currys.

I always follow these set of steps before buying into a phone.

  • Make a shortlist of phone's I'm interested in.
  • Check out YouTube reviews and un-boxings.
  • Look at sites such as gsmarena and sammobile.com
  • Visit my local Samsung Experience Store and Network Store to have hands on with.

May i ask why the phone has to be from Curry's @LiquidSnake  ? I assume they'll only hold a select choice of available handsets.

It's because there has been a problem with the handset (Samsung Galaxy A41; mobile data ain't working, but when the SIM was placed in another phone, it worked absolutely fine). Was on the phone with Virgin Mobile for an hour. They could not fix it, so they told me go to the retailer you brought your phone off of (Currys). Went to Currys and the device is at their repair centre now, but I'm just thinking that if they can't repair it; what's an appropriate handset similar to the A41 that you can get for £269.99 or less?

I've already looked on GSMArena.com, but I'll also look on Sammobile.com.

Ah I see.

Perhaps you'll have the option for a refund so you can go elsewhere to make a purchase.

Nah, unfortunately the technician informed me before handing my device in that, if unsuccessful in repair, they would give a Currys Voucher :(.

May I ask how long you've owned the phone ?

Just shy under a year. The tech said I was really lucky, as after 1 year, Currys wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Samsung phones have a 2 year manufacturing warranty on them not 12 months so they are duty bound to support the phone as long as the issues with it fall within the remit of the Samsung Warranty.

This maybe of interest to you in regards to how you stand with purchases in the UK.

Just had a look at the Curry's  / PC World Online Store and they seem to heavily favour iPhone's  !

Maybe consider asking how long the voucher is valid for and either save or add funds to help open up more options of Samsung phone's that are slightly more in cost but with better specs than one of the mid range variants.

The Pixel phone's are nice phone's.

I've played around with an Oppo phone but it wasn't for me.
