Samsung a8 2018 Updates and Oreo

I'd like to know where are my updates.

I'm very upset about this behaviour of Samsung.

It's 2 months without anything.

What's happening?

Where's Oreo?

The Galaxy A8 is scheduled to receive the Oreo update soon however a definitive release date has not been announced. I'd recommend enabling automatic updates on your phone as well as checking Smart Switch on your home computer, as the update may be released on here first. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch. If an update is available you will see a prompt on the Smart Switch home page next to your device details.

The update is being rolled out in batches and is subject to availability based on your location, @Ste01. I can't say for certain when it will reach you however it is scheduled for release on your device.

Thank you for your kindness, but I wondering why it's taking a lot of time to reach my smartphone (Italy).

It seems that Samsung has an insufficient number of servers: my patch is dated 2nd may and I suppose it is unacceptable.

Please, put my complaint at the attention to higher levels.
