I am connecting to my Smart TV via Smart View and using the Kanopy App to stream a video.
The stream works fine for about 10 minutes before my phone randomly restarts.
Any idea what could be causing this problem? Both TV and phone software are up to date.

Hi everyone, my issue have been solved yesterday, as I have received new firmware upgrade from Samsung italia, a705fnxxu5cua7, and now everything is working as ever before.

You could try a clear cache and clear data on the Kanopy app and give it a go after.
Press and hold the app icon, App info, Storage and you will see on the lower part of the screen clear cache and clear data.

Just tried, didn't work. Actually the phone restarted faster than usual.

To be honest, I don't think there is a problem with your phone but rather with the app.
You could give a phone clear cache a try by following the steps in the video:

What will be deleted if I clear the cache? I'm thinking it might not be worth it if the app is to blame.

It just empties the cache partition. You lose nothing, nothing to worry about.
Just clears out temporary files left over that could cause issues.
I would give it a try and if that doesn't help either, maybe look for an app to replace Kanopy.

Cleared the cache, still experiencing the problem.

Sorry to hear that. I guess it must be the app. If there are no alternatives you could try to contact the app developers and see if they have a fix.

Interesting idea, lovepreet. That could be the case. Any idea how I could stop the phone from working too hard?
