@Derve That does sound odd, are you receiving any error messages when you try to move photos or delete them? Could you have a go at clearing the cache of the Gallery app to see if this helps? You won't lose any data. Just head to Settings > Apps > Gallery > Storage > Clear cache to do this.
I've not seen any error messages that I'm aware of. I just get "unable to move" or "unable to delete", that type of thing. I'll try clearing the cache and see if it works. Thanks for your help.
I have the same phone and the same issue - option to move tot recycle bin is there but there is no response when you click on it. Seems to have occurred after the last update was performed on my phone.
