I recently bought my mum a Samsung a40 just recently she has been getting a message pop up alot saying no simcard inserted if she's on a call it cuts her off and she has to phone back it wasn't doing it when she first got the phone for mothers day has anyone else with a samsung a40 had this issue or does anyone no a fix ?

If she's already tried reinserting the SIM card, the contact plates on it may need cleaning, try not to put your fingers on them. If that doesn't help she may need a replacement SIM but if the old phone the A40 replaced is still around she should try the SIM in that again to rule out the new phone being faulty

OK will try this have ordered a new simcard tray as I've read alot of posts online the a40 has this issue I will give that a try if not I will just get it replaced
