Samsung A14 5G touchscreen doesn't work anymore after update to One UI 7.0

after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore. 

How to fix this?

So, is it WhatsAp that has the "incompatability" ??

I found one other app (BBC GoodFood) that is incompatible with Android 15, but uninstalling that did NOT help the "Unlock" prob

I have had an email from the service centre to tell me the senior engineer has further information and would like my phone back in for repair. I'm taking it tomorrow so will see what is said.

Spoke too soon. My Samsung A14 'phone touchscreen is now freezing again after a period of 'sleep'. Can't even answer 'phone calls 'cos touchscreen inoperable.

Exactly as others are saying.

After the upgrade to 7.0, cant unlock my phone bcs it is ignoring my touches (instert wife/gf joke here).
Happens also during call (my guess is, during the call as the phone is by my ear, the phone goes dark so I dont press any buttons with my ear aka the phone locks and after I finish the call - or just move the phone away, screen lights up but doesnt react neither)

Sometimes I get it to work after several cycles of "side button open, try touching, side button lock, repeat 20 times"; sometimes I try the "take photo using your side buttons", that sometimes also helps. And of course restart with side buttons but who the frack wants to do it everytime when theyre trying to unlock their phone...

Ive heard there should be and update from Samsung (July?) but my phone doesnt see it (Czech rep, mby its not online for my region yet).
