How can I force or at least request a shift from 2.4GHz to the same SSID but 5GHz? There are like 12-15 other routers using the 2.4GHz band nearby. That wifi analyzer explicitly says to avoid all 2.4 and just use 5, but I don't see a way to do that in Android.
This should be blindly automatic by now. I just bought an A71 (5G from Xfinity). Already having odd issues, like Play store wouldn't update anything. And fought your 2 step verification (really hate that...but apparently I hate LG's UI worse on the Stylo 6). All other devices connected to the 5GHz band automatically when I'd looked in my router's device list.
