Only Charging when Using a PC / Console

Unfortunately I have found myself having to use a PC or Console in order to charge my phone. My phone port is clean. Whenever the charger is plugged in to a socket/mains it registers as charging however never actually charges. I have tried multiple different chargers and sockets. Any ideas with whats happening ?

@Jwoorr: Are you using the official charger and plug socket adapter that came with the device? If you head to Settings > Device Care > Battery > Charging, is Fast Charging enabled? Try connecting to your charger with this option toggled on and off, and let me know if you're able to establish a charge.

yes I have done this and there is still no charge

@Jwoorr: If you power off the phone and connect it to your charger via a wall socket, does this help at all?

No unfortunately it doesn't make a difference. I have always used the official charger .

If you're able to establish a charge via USB on your home computer, but not via a wall socket adapter, then this suggests a potential issue with your existing adapter. in that case why does in not charge with 3rd party products

@Jwoorr: I can't comment on third party charger compatibility, however based on the nature of your query it would be beneficial to reach out to our Help Desk in order to explore your repair options, or look at arranging a replacement charging cable/adapter. If you're on network contract then that's fine, as we can accept a copy as proof of purchase.
