This phone ia just awful, even turning off animations doesn't improve it, it's so slow and laggy, the keyboard freezes constantly, the os often stops responding to the point it says one ui is not responding and I have to close it, for it to lock and bug out, this phone should never have been put on sale

Is it, hmmm that makes me happy as system processes and system ui both crash at the same time and locks me out of my phone as it lags and struggles to bring up my lock screen

A13 is a budget or starter phone.

It will have a very low price, typically just over £100 so it begs the question "what do you expect?". Flagship performance for a tenth of the price?

I'd expect it not to constantly have process system crash and system ui crash like every other day, this software built by uni students

Sounds to me like your memory may be full.

Recommend you clear cache on all apps, delete those you don't use and then perform a Wipe Partition Cache on your device

I have a friend who had the lowest priced phone from Samsung for a couple of years, it was laggy but it worked fine. And that was few years ago. It's good to perform some device care as already suggested to you. Although I understand you would like more performance from any device, the phone can only deliver for the price payed, pretty much this is true for any brand.
