I have been using my A70 for years and never had an issue. But all of a sudden I can not make or take calls within a certain radius of my home. I can still message, use the hotspot and make calls on Whatsapp. When I try via any app installed I just get Network Busy error  after about 1 minute of phone trying to connect. I have tried all options including a factory reset yet none seem to work. Go 3 miles from home and able to make calls no problem. Does not make any sense and working from home its kind of essential of having the phone working.

Try contacting your network provider explaining the issue you're having to check mobile and your area to see if there are any issues

Hey @Adam19831 and warm welcome

First thing you can do is to check if there's any damage to your sim card, try reinsert card to different sim slot, give your network provider a call and see if there's no issues in your area, try different sim cards.


Also If you haven't already try reset network settings.

No issues with network or SIM. Works fine in the wifes phone. Have also been to local phone shops where they have cleaned the SIM and port sections of the phone. I can make calls outside the radius no problem its like theres some block on the phone once I get close to home.

No damage and tried in the other SIM slot and same issue. No network outage. Same issue whatever SIM I use. Its like their is a location block but cant figure out why. 

Done network reset and factory reset but same problem.

Have you tried phone diagnostics
Click on the support icon at the bottom of the page and run a diagnostic test

I am messaging via a laptop as the Samsung Members app does not work with the A70 so can not install to even try running diagnostics
