My A32 5 G heats up & switches on & off spontaneously very frequently specially if I stop using it or while charging it.

Has anybody experienced  that?

Any ideas on the problem or solutions?

You could try it in Safe mode to rule out any 3rd party app, etc, that maybe causing this. To get to safe mode - long press power button, long press power off icon, tap safe mode icon. When booted into Safe mode, you may need to turn off flight mode as it sometimes enables itself.

@Mounis: Prior to the phone's power cycle, do you see a notification on screen to warn you that the device is heating up? Are you using the USB cable that came packaged with the phone, along with a genuine Samsung 15W plug adapter?

In the meantime, please make sure to close any apps when not in use via the Recents button in your Navigation bar. Also, head to Settings > Device care > Optimise now (if available) > Memory > Clean now. I also recommend switching off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Mobile data during periods of downtime.

I have done what you recommended. The hesting is less but it still crashes spontaneously & goes into shutting down & restarting loops repeatedly

I went into safe mode & removed as many apps as I could. The crashing & restarting loops are still happening repeatedly consuming the battery. Any further advice?

Make a backup and factory reset the phone.

@Mounis: For guidance on how to backup your device and restore it to its default factory settings, please take a look at the link below, which will walk you through the process.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-perform-factory-reset-on-my-mobile-device...

If the issue should persist following the factory data reset, then please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the screen > Contact us, and reach out via your preferred contact method, and an advisor will be able to arrange for the phone to be inspected and repaired by an authorised Samsung engineer.
