Can anyone tell me how I can upgrade my Galaxy A3 to run on Android 7 ?
If I try to "Update" all it seems to do is update my apps - but how can I update the phone's OS ?
IS it even possible ?????

I did a Google search and your phone is just to old to run Android 7 Nougat, and even Nougat is no longer supported. if you're up for some disappointing reading here's a few links. I think you will have no option but too get yourself a more up-to-date handset.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm sure you could get a more up-to-date handset for a reasonable price. The reason your bank will only let you use Internet banking with a more recent Android version is that it's more secure to carry out financial transactions on-line than older versions of Android.

Hi.
as Dannycrane, has said.
your bank will not let you use banking apps with such old software.
Hopefully you can pick up a phone with more up to date software at a good price.

Well I've spent the afternoon chatting to Samsung """Experts""". Similar situation: bank wants me to upgrade to Android 7 on my Galaxy S4. The "Experts" didn't even understand the question. So you're all saying my phone is trash?
