MP4 wont play

I have a new A21S and it wont play MP4 video files.  Any hep appreciated.

Try VLC player.
depending on codec used in the file Samsung built in player might not support it.

@JUSTINTIME2001: The Galaxy A21s supports the following video codecs: MP4, M4V, 3GP, 3G2, WMV, ASF, AVI, FLV, MKV, WEBM. Which media player are you attempting to open the file in? Do you get any error messages?

I am trying to open them on my phone and i get the error message file not supported even though they are either wmv, mp4 or avi.

I'm getting the same error message on my S21 Plus

I'm getting it on brand new A14. If I make a video on my old phone and quickshare it to my new A14 it plays. But as soon as I try yo play it direct from gallery with video player or vlc it won't play. Video player says format not supported and vlc just goes black screen.
