Mp4 audio issues on Samsung A40

I've recently transferred some audio files across from my laptop to my Samsung A40 and playback via the phone is very glitchy using the Samsung music app. I've tried several attempts at deleting and re-transferring via USB and also tried transferring through onedrive download but always get the same issue. The files play fine on my laptop so no issues there. I've also tried playing through a different music player app but get the same issue. 

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Firstly, check if your phone has any problem with the speakers, as that could be a possible issue.

Then, try making the audio files into a high quality, by converting them OR redownloading them into 320 kbps. Hope this helps mate! 😁

Spot on thanks mate. You got me looking in the right area. I converted the files to AAC format in iTunes then tried again and they now play perfect through the phone 👌
